Stock A/C Cover

Stock A/C Cover
I've been wanting to change out the stock football shape A/C cover. With a little help from some people here, I found H/D came out this year with a round smooth A/C cover kind of like the round Evo Nostalgic Cover. I looked at the HD Nostalgic A/C cover, which requires the extra gasket, and some said it sticks out far. The new one doesn't require the extra gasket. I am going to try this one. Went into the dealership today with the part number. He ended up calling the headquarters for info on it. Must be hot of the press, who knows. Here is the part number if anyone is interested. 29153-07

RE: Stock A/C Cover
Thanks Dynblack. I will see what this one looks like. Kind of plain, but like the round look.Like that bar and shield look on the EVO one. Do you have any pics of yours? Anyone else replace theirs and if so, can you post some pics. Thanks. I hate this site. I always see stuff on other bikes and want to add it to mine.

RE: Stock A/C Cover
Just bought that exact same one yesterday (#29153-07) at the dealer for 20% off - does not look exactly like the pic as there isn't a ridge around the perimeter (see below), it's completely smooth, with a very large slot/opening around the bottom, and is approx 7" in diameter and 2 1/4" deep. When I got home I opened it and was surprised it didn't quite match the pic on the box (ie. no ridge), but the box has the correct # and was sealed. Actually like it better than the pic on the box. Sorry, haven't installed it yet since I got home late and the garage is freezing and I had to do a few other things. But the dealer did verify that no gasket is required if you have the SE Stage 1 intake.
