Can a Fatboy front fender go on a Switchback and vice versa??? If so, does anyone want to trade? I have a mint vivid black front fender on my 2011 Fatboy that I'd be willing to trade for a vivid black Switchback fender. Anyone?

Think you could take measurements of the width and of the distance between the two mounting holes on one side?

I'm almost positive the width of my fender is 6.5" from mounting tab to mounting tab.

 

Yes it will with the proper fender mounting kit from HD.

 

Which bike needs the mounting kit?

Both of these fenders have the same mount. They are not like touring fenders with the mounts that stock out.

Anyone who has a Switchback can you please measure the width of your front fender mounting tab to mounting tab? Also can you measure on one side the distance of the two mounting holes?

I took measurements of the Fatboy front fender (on the bike). I got...

Fender width: 6.75"
Measurement between mounting holes on each side: 2.75" center to center

 

Just checked my 2012 Switchback. I got 2 3/4 between the bolts and 6 1/2 wide. I hope this helps...

 

Thanks for taking those measurements. I may have been a lil off on my measurement of the Fatboy fender. Sounds like the Switchbacks can swap fenders with Fatboys. Anyone game for a swap?

 

Yeah mine could have been off a shade as well. It is hard to measure as is.

I think you are good too. I like my Swithchback fender but I bet you find someone with a black one looking for a change. Best of luck! Get some pics up when you get it done! I would like to see both!
