i just have a ?, does any one know if 36" cables will work on a 2009 street bob with 16" apes from J and P cycles.

 

Use a string to measure what you have then add ~+6" for 16s.

 

I think Magnum Shielding list stock length measurements for different year bikes. Check them out and look up your year. On my apes the grip height measures out to 15.5" even though they are sold as an 18" ape. I went +8 on clutch and brakes & +10 on throttle and idle. Everything came out perfect. I have a newer wide glide though so not sure if the measurements are different. Good luck.
