I have an '05 Super Glide. The whole front end is Pro One. Recently I have noticed my fork stem clunk and raise up a little bit when I pull on the front brakes. I tried to tighten the hex bolt underneath the upper triple tree but it still does it. Any suggestions?

Post a pic of the setup, that will allow a more informed answer. What kind of fork stop setup do you have?

Off hand I would think it is time to check the bearings and properly set the fall away.

 

Did you loosen the pinch bolts before tightening the big hex? If you don't it wont draw the bearings in because the lower tree wont be able to move up on the forks
