Default 2013 Fat Bob Saddle Bags

Looking for a good set of bags for my Fat Bob. It appears that there is plenty of room on this bike for a set of bags as the shocks are farther forward than on a typical Dyna. Who has bags that will fit without modification?? I was looking at these:

I'm looking at a pair of these because they can lock.

With some quick detach edge or ghost brackets pretty much any leather saddle bag on the market will fit because the distance between the rear turn signals and the shocks is longer than other models. There are also a few bags with indents to sit over the outside of the shock if you want it covered. I had to take the spacer out of my turn signals to work with hard bags but they are still there tucked in back.

I like my viking bags. I think they are like $199 on sale. And they are lockable.

If I already have brackets for a sissy bar installed, will the bags fit onto those?

I'm sure it will with the right length bolts. The mounting kit is universal so you put the brackets where you want to work with your bike. Where it attaches to the bike is where the bolt lengths take into play. I just put my detachable hardware on last week and the bolts just screw right into the backing plate on the inside of the fender. Ended up getting 3.5" bolts for the front strut bolts and 3" for the rear I think. Had to go to home depot a couple times.

I think they have a forum discount too!!

We make bags specifically designed for the Dyna, both throwover and bolt-on. You can buy them online and get 20% off until July 4 - PM me and I will give you free shipping too. I promise you will love them. All of our bags are handmade by my family in Texas.
