Default Need help / direction with a Rinehart exhaust bracket / Pic's inside

I just received a used Rinehart exhaust and brackets in the mail. The bracket is totally different then what is on the bike now and I can't seem to see how it will bolt up. The current exhaust on the bike is a set of drag pipes that were installed by previous owner so I'm wondering if something was taken off when it was installed that I need to install these. If you have this bracket and could post a pic of it installed that would be great.

The exhaust Ike trying to install came off from a 2005 FXDL and I'm installing it on my 2001 so it should be comparable.

Here's some pics of the bracket.

Current exhaust bracket on bike

Thanks for any insight you can provide

Are any of the installed bolts/screws been tightened?
From the photo it looks like the bracket is too far forward at the pipe.
If you haven't try taking the exhaust pipe bolts out and line up the one engine/trans bolt that has not bolt yet.
You should not tighten any bolts until everything has been lined up and bolts/screws loose then tighten. This gives you some flexibility to have some movement to get everything lined up.

It's a 2 into 2 and have not installed anything yet. The pictures of the bike is the exhaust that's currently on it not the rinehart and the bracket I'm holding. I've just lined it up to see how it'll connect via eye balling it and can't see how it'll work. I wonder if rinehart exhausts were different in 2005? It's weird because every other manufacture list up to 2005 as the dyna changed a bit in 2006.

looks like it goes on the tranny... I had rineharts on my 07 at one time and the bracket hooked to the tranny

Thanks, that's what I was thinking but it doesn't seem like the holes will line up. Did the bracket from the 07 look like mine?

It really doesn't look like it lines up with the transmission properly but maybe some of the holes do? As long as a couple do just mount it.

Guess my question would be is it looks like the front pipe mounts to the bracket you have in the picture. Is there another bracket for the rear pipe?

YEs, there is another plate with 4 holes that I believe mounts to this bracket allowing for both pipes to attach. I should of posted a picture of the plate but didn't think of it. im at work for a long shift so am unable to now as they're at home.

I'm gonna take the old exhaust off and try to see if I can get two holes to line up next week in hopes that I can. I'm gonna get the exhaust sand blasted and then paint it as its in rough shape but dont want to put the $$$ into it if I cant get it to mount.
