Default Updated.... my Bob Modifications

Hey all i havent posted for a while, but i lurk every day reading up on whats happening and what mods you fellas are up to. I thought i'd share what ive got in the pipeline for my Bob as it changes from a 06 StreetBob into a 06Dyna ProStreet[8D]

Last year when i picked up the bike i added drag bars with 6" risers and over the summer i tossed on a Rineheart 2-1 and SERT, along with the HD 180 rear tire kit.

For this winter i wanted to make the bike really different from the other Bob's ive been seeing around my home town.

Through Hog-Pro i recently orderd the following for my ride:
- Performance Machine Wrath front wheel (3.5" x 21"), with the wheel and hub coated in gloss black.
- Performance Machine Wrath rear wheel (5.5" x 18"), with the wheel and hub coated in gloss black.
- Performance Machine "Wrath" Image Series 2-piece rotors, with chrome centers for both wheels.
- A RWD "Long OCF" front fender, whichI will paint to match.
- Avon Venom Tires front and rear (120/70-21 front and 180/55R-18 rear)

Ive also bought Wide Glide triple-trees and lower fork sliders, which i am currently having powdercoated gloss black along with a few other pieces i pulled off the bike.

To do something different and get a more modern ive fabricated a custom mount for a gloss black V-Rod headlight i bought. i think that this headlight is going to look really nice and go with the look im after. I really like the Walz bikes that use this headlight and now mine should look similar.

Finally i bought and installed a set of 11" progressive 412's, in gloss black.

Ive got no pics at the moment, but as things trikle in ill be sure to share the pics and of course when my little project is complete ill be showing my work to you all.

Come on spring.....

Thought I'd share some progress pics here of the work I've been doing to my Dyna. All of my powdercoating is done and my new wide glide front end is in place. My PM wheels are being coated right now and then on they go. OnceI have em mountedI can mock up my new front fender and hopefully she'll be done.

The Ac is a Arlen Ness stage 1 and the cover is the stock one cut up ala WS6, I ditched the stock center piece in favor of a gloss black insert..

Nice! When I converted my bob over to wg I talked to Hog Pro about the 21" /120 tire set-up. I was after a laced wheel combo, andthey where have problems getting the 07 wg hub. I went with a stock 21" HD rim to get bob back on the road, but a 120 front tire is on the top of my list for this winters makeover. Keep us posted, I can't wait to see the finished product!

Take care, ................... Dan

PS ... I dig the black sliders too. You got me thinking????????
