Mine was matte black. My painter still spent a good amount of time getting it right for color.

I traded sweat labor for sweat labor. Or more honestly, I was was her slave as a project manager for her bathroom upgrade. It turned out fantastic as my bike uses the 2008 anniversary copper and black. (and the bathroom is cool too)

Guys, Squid hasn't been on the forum for a while, he had some health issues and sold his bike.

Sorry to hear that. I followed his lead for my fairing and thank him for that. Hope he is all right.

I was sold the Kuryakyn clamps as well and can't seem to figure out how to make them work. I'm probably going to be biting the bullet and buying th BK brackets (UGH). But from what I hear, it's the way to go. Other than the HD QR clamps does anyone have any other clamps that'll work with this fairing and bracket system. I've got a '15 SB

Default HD 1/4 Fairing

After reading through this thread I followed Squid's setup, using the HD clamps. Worked like a charm. I wouldn't recommend fooling around with any other setup on the Street Bob. Bung King + HD 49 mm clamps + HD 1/4 fairing = one sweet setup.

Same here...love the set up. One thing I did do, after reading that the little HD clamp pads tend to stick to the fork and come out of the clamp...I used a dab of diaelectric grease (the clear stuff) on the pads before installing the clamps. I've had the fairing off several times, and the pads stay with the clamps so far.
