My Dyna is going Bagger

I have to say here that speaking honestly I think you're nuts. Please don't get me wrong I am not knocking what you plan to do or trying to flame you, just for me, and it's a purely personal opinion, I don't understand why you would want to that other than maybe a way to get a less expensive bagger (maybe not that cheap after you've done all that) or it's a fun 'project' which I can relate to in a way. However the end result just wouldn't do it for me lol
I bought my Dyna StreetBob because I hated the overloaded look the Heritage Softails and larger bagger style bikes offered. I didn't want a Sportster - but wanted a big twin with a cleaner cut back and leaner look which is exactly (again for me) the StreetBob offers.
I love my StreetBob and it will now be the last Harley I buy - although not necessarily the last bike as I am also looking the new Triumph Bonneville and Norton Commando ranges.

i built a dyna bagger so that i could have a stripped down bobber to rip around town, then be able to suit up and go cross country. mine went from bobber to bagger in a very short time... here is the youtube vid i made when i sold the parts to customer... was the best of both words... and i had a screaming stereo! was nice when you where putting 10 - 12 hours a day in the saddle

Everyone has different ideas. I loved my street bob when I first got it, but it's just gotten plain and boring now. Ready to take on a new challenge and plus it's not going to be an over night project. Probably going to take a good bit of time to get everything perfect. My dad builds trikes out of Harleys and has given a lot of positive advice for when it comes to questions I have.

It's the Rambler front fender from Russ Wernimont. I had a dumb a** moment when I first put it on. The mounts didnt line up the I realized "duh idiot face it the other way". Went right on like a champ, got to love those "oh yeah" moments haha.
I'm still searching for a rear fender, I've been told that the street glide fender will fit between the Street Bob fender struts. It's a 8 3/4 wide mounting area. Anyone know how wide the 2008 Street Glide rear fender is?

Klockwerks makes a fender that I am planning on using on my bob, hopefully in the next month or so, that is originally made for the pre 08' touring bikes with a 180 kit. If I remember correctly the fender comes with either a 2" or 6" stretch and is both 8.125" and 8.625" wide. I think the 8.125 is the one that will fit, but not positive, I still haven't measure my strut spacing.
