I can not verify the quality of their workmanship, but there are a few touring guys using fairings made by Dead Center Cycles. They have one they are making just for the Street Bob (and I am guessing any of the newer Dyna's with the mid glide front ends). It's called the Road Captain Fairing, here is a pic. It is designed to work with the stock light on the Street Bob and is a bit smaller then the touring models, so it doesn't look huge on the Street Bob.

So I've been rethinking my color scheme lately. I've been looking at a bunch of bikes that the engine is completely chromed out. I had a 2010 SVT Raptor that I loved the metallic black that was on it, had blue specs in it and when it was clean and waxed (not that often haha) it was beautiful! So I think that with chrome would be amazing!

Man I'm so torn in what to do...I think I'm just getting tired of having an all black bike for the past 5 years.

I know what you mean! I think you should paint it up!!

I bought my bike in Vivid black and love a black and chrome bike, but I worked the midnight shift and in the mornings after the dew would mix with the dust it just looked horrible! i would have to wash the grit off of it every other day.

Now my Bob looks nothing like it did, but it's actually easier to keep clean:

This would be the other paint choice I would go with. I'd go all solid with a chromed out motor and wheels. Ford's 2010 Tuxedo Black

I like the Tuxedo black, but Jeep had a black a few years back called brilliant black I absolutely loved when it first came out. It's pretty similar to the tuxedo I think. Would have to see them both next to each other.

Looking really nice, it is always better when you build it with your own hands, nice work.

Here is a picture of where I'm headed with my bike minus the fairing. The side covers are $400 for both but I think they need to be reworked to cover the ECM cover and battery box. The next picture is the fairing I'd like to use

And the style fairing I'm planning on using

What kind of fairing is that?
