Default black plastic thing that holds wires up on street bob

I changed out my handlebars on my 13 street bob and had to take that plastic thing under the tank that holds the wires up out. That was a PITA. So now how in gods name do I get the damn thing back in? Do I have to take off my tank? I have it slid as far back as it'll go now and I can't figure it out. I'm sure some of you have ran in to this issue before and hopefully there's a trick to it. Thanks in advance, you guys are awesome.

The only trick I remember is keep fighting it until it pops into place. I definitely did not take the tank off.

It will go in with the tank slid back...just tuck in the wires as much as you can so the plstic thing doesn't have to fight the wires and it will snap in

Make sure it is facing the right way too...
No need to take off the tank

I got it in there. Thanks for the help everyone, I guess I was just getting frustrated fighting the wires, once I went back out to the garage with my patience levels refilled I got it back into place.
