I have a set of V&H Big radius. they have about 2000 miles on them. i am looking to trade for a set short shot staggered. Anyone ????

 

forget it, I didnt know they were so cheap. I am just going to buy some new. I thought they would be more than 300 bucks. Sorry guys.

hey hog how is the sound on them? I am guessing probably similar to the Big Radius?

 

mcurry i have them on a 06 bob and really like them not too loud but not as deep as the big radius. for the price cant go wrong as far as im concerned.

 

the big radius are not really that deep though. I am now curious as to the sound difference. I cant imagine its much different though.

 

not a whole lot of difference i just think the short shots have a little more crackle. friend of mine has the big radius on a deuce. i ride with him quite a bit. just seems i have a little more crackle than him. may have something to do with the 88b motor not really sure. didnt mean to confuse you any sorry

I have the short shot staggered and a buddy has the big radious, and side by side the big radious seem to have that "Whisk" sound to them. Kida like air being pushed out of a small hole sound to me, where as mine have more of a solid (somewhat loud) exhast sound. Could just be me but I like either of them, but the short shots make it easy to work on the rear tire if that is any kind of a benifit. Good luck

 

nice rumble when riding open the throttle hard and you get a nice loud raspy splat as i would call it. Sounds awsome! definately set off car alarms and scare old ladys and small children!
