Not everyone is a fan of the "blacked out" look... Shiny Chrome and Black Paint just naturally go together.

A bunch of you nailed it on the head. The blacked out thing is much bigger on these forums than out on the road. The fact that the 2013 Street Bob now comes with the frontend, rocker covers, and whatever other parts blacked out only makes this more prevalent.

Out on the road, shiny chrome and paint is the overwhelming standard. I can easily pick my bike out of the crowd.

128Auto, I love your bike just the way it is! You have a good mix of black and blue, and some chrome, it looks great. I dont think you need to change anything about it. Everyone is always telling someone else how THEIR bike should be. Well, thats why we all have different bikes.

Actually Alex, you need a bit more powder on her. Keep the blue though.

I agree too. That said though, I do wish HD would let the H-D1 builders finish out the black theme when setting up the bike. If they are going to offer black motors, pipes, intake, f irk lowers, trees, battery and electrical box; they should also offer black bars, signals, rocker boxes, and shocks. They have all this stuff in inventory and even standard on some models. They should just offer it up from the start.

Alex's bike looks great though. I'm not sure I would change anything (unless it's to change the title to my name!)

Should I powder coat all fasteners? I have no idea what you are talking about Scott.

You should match your rotors to your rear pulley.

Maybe spend a little more time polishing it up, it looks filthy!

What happened to you Sig? Scale back?

I do love your red and black, I am willing to do a straight swap + 12 cans, call me when you are ready.
FYI the 12 cans are paid for your orange roller shifter peg.
