I have an 05 FXD with a narrow glide front end. What are the biggest tires I can put on for front and rear? I would be willing to get new wheels too, just want to see what biggest option for both tires.

 

I was able to fit a 170/60-17 rear on my '03. The front fork/fender clearance is tight with the stock size front 100/90-19. I was thinking maybe a 110/90-19 would fit if you deflate the tire to get it past the fender mounts?

 

I ran a 110/90 metzler when I had my stock narrow glide front end. It was tight but it didn't rub. Handled a lot better too.

Okay thanks a lot. What is your set up to go to wider front end George? I have seen a lot on conversion kits or different front ends. Our bikes are pretty close stock so just looking for ideas.
