Default Rear tire suggestions

Anyone had particularly good experiences in terms of milage/handling?

I was looking at the Brigestone Exedra, dunlop elite 3, and the Metzler marathons, but I'd love to hear experiences.

i got 10,000 miles out of my stock michelin scorcher and loved the traction. currently running a metzler and have about 2000 miles on it with minimal signs of wear from my hard riding. i suggest either one of those.

is it possible to fit a 200mm rear tire on the street bob without extensive mods?

just install metzler me 880 on front and rear tonite, the bridgestones have very few reviews, talked to a Yamaha dealer he says there a replacement tire . there ok, the nite dragons don't last over 7000 miles but really hold the road. he sell more metzlers than any other tire to metric and Harleys and people love em so I guess I will find out how they hold up.

Just put a bridgestone 180 on the rear of my fatbob last week. Much better than the stock dunlop. Not expensive either. paid 143 online. Dealer wanted 390 installed for stock dunlop. Thats crazy. I believe dunlops r overrated anyhow. just cant justify the cost

I’m running Metzler ME880s and they are wearing well. You need to keep the air pressure at the maximum rating for proper wear and handling.

Running Michelin Commander II. So far a great tire and reported to out last others. Not a fan for how little life I got out of the Metzler.

Running the Michelin Commander II's myself. About six thousand miles on them and they still look like new. Good handling as far as i'm concerned, I couldn't ask for anything better. I truly think I just might get the twenty five thousand miles out of them as they promote.

I got around 12500 out of the stock Scorcher 31. Went with it again but this time in a 180. Much better ride with better highway manners. Only down side is it's not cheap.
