Default Stock wires and Apes

I have searched several times for this answer, but i keep getting different answers.

I just bought 17" apes and a LA Choppers cable kit for my 07 Street Bob. What i can't figure out is if the stock wires are going to be long enough.

Any input is appreciated ahead of time.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you won't know for sure, until you wire your new bars.

Yep! It is not that hard to extend the wires. You don't need a fancy kit. Just some wire and a soldering gun...Nothing to it...

Ha, I've never soldered anything before. I would just hate to get all the other parts together then realize I have to wait for wire extensions in the mail.

Go to youtube and learn to solder. It is EASY. Wire extension kits have a nasty habit of breaking pins when you pull them through the bars, especially with the Molex style connectors.

Fish the connector out of the neck and see how much extra wire there is, then decide if yoy need the wires extended.
