Default Easy Brackets and Saddlemen Drifter bags

I'm hoping to get some answers... I'm just about to buy some saddlebags and really like the look of the saddlemen.

Jpcycles Drifter Slants

And while reading all the threads here on the forum, I have decided to go with the easy brackets.

Jpcycles Easy Brackts

Now for the questions:

1. Has anyone mounted the Slant drifter bags using the easy brackets on an 06 Street Bob?

2. Do you have to move the rear blinkers?(I really don't wanna do this one [:@])

After looking at the dimensions, I'm guessing you WILL...

Nothing against J&P, but you can save a little money by looking up the bags in the Drag catalog http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook/19/456/3872220and buying them from someplace like this http://www.discountcycleparts.com/xc...t_number=5393+
The ones in the 2nd link are the large Drifter slant throwovers, $113 vs $145 from J&P.

I have a lowrider with easy brackets on the saddlebags. Yes, I had to relocate the turn signals but htere has never been any paint rubbing.

I've got the easy brackets and yes you do have to move the signals. That said, you can use most slant throw-overs without moving your turn signals. And yes they will rub your paint if you're not very carefull. If you have a full seat and you place a soft cloth under the yoke of the saddlebags and then clamp them downwith your seat you should be fine.Note: this does not work with a solo seat the cloth will blow out and the yoke will scuff up your rear fender, dont ask me how I know this.

I buy quite a lot of stuff from them, always good service. I ordered aMemphis Shades mounting hardware kit last Sunday and got it Wednesday. And the price was 30% off list.
