I vote black tops,that's what I did on mine.I think it is a good contrast bothe tops and bottoms would be to much black in my opinion unless that is the way you are headed

black definitly, just had my boxes coated midnight black and it looks soooo much better

 

Lowers chrome, Uppers black with chrome bolt heads.

 

I like the chrome. Engine looks great surrounded by the black like you have it.

 

I'd stay with the chrome it makes a nice contrast.

 

black plus it's easier to keep clean

 

I know I am going black on mine soon.
