When you figure depreciation, tax, and lic, I can't see how you'd make the jump up for less than a $3k hit.

The only functional differance between the two bikes is the engine stroke making more stock displacement. Everything else is exactly the same.
Have you made any changes to your current bike? Bags, seat, windshield, chrome, etc? You'll get about a 20 cent on the dollar return on those changes.
If you do the math, you'll find it's much cheaper to have your current engine stroked or bored rather than trade it in.

NO way.... I checked it out myself. they dealer offered ma about $13K on my 06 Wide glide that ran about $21K out the door. The 96 is not worth the step up. I am getting my 06 bumped up to 95" and portrd and polished for way less than the price to step up a year. just my 2cents
