Default 1/4 Fairing Arlen Ness or others?

So, I have seen a few bikes down here in SoCal with a 1/4 fairing on and I really like the look, plus am looking to take some of the wind off while out on the longer highway rides.

I've read through a few of the other threads and most people seem to point to the Arlen Ness 1/4 as the best looking 1/4.

I have a '12 Street Bob and while I was at my dealer one day hanging out and shooting the **** with the sales guys they mentioned they had a '13 in the back with the 1/4 on it (pic below). So when I went back to take a look at it, I was shocked at how wide and bulky it looked. I felt that it just didn't look right on the bike and the ones I have seen while out on my rides seemed much slimmer.

Anyone know of a 1/4 that doesn't look like the bike has a spaceballs helmet on it?

Search for conely, arlen ness, 1/4 fairing .. plenty out there. It looks a little wide but basically the same as the ness fairing I believe.

I would just go to the club/thug dyna thread you will see pretty much every fairing out there. My personal fairing now is the rifle for the taller windshield I had the HD 1/4 which I liked but also didn't like it for my morning commute because it didn't block enough wind. T Sport would be my top choice if I were to change from my current. Functionability with style.

As said higher conely's'offer a lot of different fairing. Now concerning your "question" the picture you showed us is an arlen ness... But the new bolt on version for the 49mm forks(mid glide dyna) the look you want would be possible with either a conely's louvered fairing or an arlen ness wide glide kit with some white trash enginereering(not sure about that word spelling haha)

Thanks guys! After seeing the conely's narrow fairing, this look like the type of fairing I wanted to go with. Of course now that I see the retro t sport fairing, I am curious to see this one in person too.

I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger and buy the ness mid glide dyna fairing now. Prob would have gone straight to ebay with it. Good to know I could get this same look with the ness wide glide kit too.

You just have to raise the Ness up to achieve the same look, I've got one listed in the classified section.
