to have it professionally done, around 500 bucks.

Slap a piece of brass on the underside and weld up the hole, then just knock the brass off. Grind it down flush on both sides.

Then a paper thin coat of bondo and sand it down flush

Paint, clear,color sand and buff.

I would send it away and have it done right and fast by someone who does it all the time. Mine was shipped back to me within one week.
