Ethanol Fuel Problems
Here in California and elsewhere that use E10 fuel which has 10% Ethanl in it can cause perfromance problems and fuel degradation in the tank. The fuel has only a 90 day life span at most even in a gas tank. The water will seprate in time from the base fuel and cause hard starting , poor performance, and if left over the winter can casue a coat to form on the inside of the tank . I have used Sta-bil in the fuel tank to keep the life of the fuel goood for a longer time. I have found a NEW product that works quite well keeping the fuel to last longer and keep the tank cleaner and also cleans you fuel injectors, carbs and fuel system. It is called STAR-TRON and it is an Enzyme that keeps the fuel and water from seperating from the Ethanol and any moisture in the tank so it will burn in the combustion chamber. Also since it does nto let the Ethanol sperate from the gasoline there is no coating problem in the fuel tank. You can google Star Tron and get the physics of the product but I have used it and since I do nto ride much in the winter I find by using this product I do nto have the problem I use to have with Gasoline with 10% Ethanol.
