I have a 2006 Streetbob.

I am looking for a used fender to experiment on.

Can I purchase a Dyna fender from the last few years to put on the Streetbob or did they do something different on it?

i doubt it's the same, since the front has different forks and the rear has a wider rear wheel on the new models (and wider fender)

 

I guess I should have mentioned that it is the rear fender that I am looking at.

Do you know if the fender changed in 06 or sooner?

 

Yes,... the 06 and later fenders are wider. I see them from time to time on ebay at pretty cheap prices. I measured mine and if I remember correctly the 06 Dyna fenders are 9in wide.

front and rear tins both changed in 06 -
most of 06 parts not interchangeable with previous years
