I have a stock 93 FXR (1340 80”) and a new 17low rider S (110”) and it would way over 10K more to make my FXR handle,HP and ride as nice as my new Dyna. Add it up 800 GPR Stabilizer(stop head shake), 4,500 forks (Ohlins), 1,500 r. shocks(Ohlins), 2,000brakes (108mm Brembos), 2,000 wheels (BST CF), 1,500 swingarm (BrocksAlm.) 1,000 exhaust (RSD), Engine 7-10k (124"- 143") That'salready north of 23K and I'm sure there would be another 3kin miscellaneous expenses (tires, paint, controls) . So around 25Kwith no initial FXR donor bike or labor costs you could have a FXR that isfaster and far better then the new Dyna. You can buy Two new HDFXDLS for less than 30K all day. Not hating just saying you have to really want the FXR and then price doesn't matter.
