Default Air Shock Oil Question

I got a pair of Street Glide shocks for my Dyna, which were shipped with the air lines installed.
I removed an air line from one of the shocks and oil leaked out of the quick connector.

I think the factory service manual for a 2011 Street Glide is full of **** when it instructs the replacement of the shocks when this happens.

My question is to those who have OEM air shocks:

What type of oil and how much of it goes into the 11" Street Glide shocks?

They got me too when I was swapping to Schrader valves. Do a search search. I found something that talked about weighing them and making them match. It looked like I lost a lot but it was barely any and they weighed about the same. Difference was like .02 ounces. I've put about 3k miles on them and they ride great. I miss the lowered look, but the 12" street glide shocks save my back and are a lot more fun in the twisties. Oh and I believe it's just regular shock oil. I might swap out to some AMSOIL Shock therapy one day. But right now I like the way it rides.

I thought I kept the thread I mentioned above, but I can't find it. I read that some mix 5 and 10 wt 50/50 to give it a 7wt ish blend. I thought about doing this myself. Stock I believe is 5 wt and as cush as the 5 wt is I wouldn't mind a little stiffness with less air. Someone said 10wt was just a little to stiff. If I come across that thread again I'll post it up. Might have been several thread I read, who knows. I can't remember 6 months back....lol!!

Found another post. 10oz in a 13"RK shock. Little less for shorter shock. Google changing oil in road king shock.

i used 11oz of 10wt bel ray shock oil in each when i refilled, i drained them by hanging upside at an angle down for a few days and measured 11oz out of one and about 10.4oz out of the other..

when i received them there was some oil in the shipping box so i gathered that was where the other.6 went

You guys that have done this. Do they ride good? How much height change is there? Mine is still on the stand as also doing the SE Comp upgrade so havent been able to set it down to look. The stockers are junk and the price was right on these.

I love the ride. I have the 2011 12" street glide shocks with the stock oil in it. I run 35psi and it's like riding a lazy boy. I bump up the pressure to 40psi when I know I'm going to play in some hard twisties, but at 35 it does just fine. Before I went to this I had 11" progressive 412s and of course stock before that. The 12" lowered SG shocks are the same length as your stock SB shocks.
