Is it possible to put a 21" softail rim on the stock 19" hub from my Street Bob?
Hey folks, lots of knowledgeable people on this forum so I'm hoping one of you can help me. My local guy has a beautiful 21" front wheel with twisted spokes he took off a softail deuce and there's a brand new tire on it. It's a much skinnier wheel than what is currently on my Street Bob, probably a 2.15" width. Obviously the hub from this wheel will not line up correctly on my bike without swapping out the triples but I'm trying to figure out another way to make this work. Does anybody know if it's possible to take the existing twisting spokes from the 21" wheel and mount them to my Street Bob hub so I can use the 21" rim and tire? I appreciate any input. I'm trying to upgrade without spending a fortune. Thanks.

Joe, that is exactly what I want to do. I've read that handling suffers when you switch to a narrower wheel so I was on the fence about it anyways. I love your set up, and my bike has a similar look to yours, 10" Carlini Evil Apes, etc. I see you help a lot of people out on the forum and I think that is great. Can you do me one favor and post the links for the spokes and rim? No idea where to even begin looking for that stuff, and I wouldn't know what options to choose on the spokes, there seems to be many. I'd like the exact same set up you have. Thanks for your speedy response to my post and happy holidays! I'll send a picture when the bike's done.

the spokes i run are from HD wheels, a bit more $$$ but top notch customer service. we have done a few of these wheels for customers, and can offer powder and lacing services if you need. hell we can even mount the tires, balance, and pop in new bearings if you need it

Joe, last question:
Since the Jerih rims have a deeper inset center did you end up buying 19 or 21 inch spokes? I see that the guys on the forum who used that rim just used their original 19 inch spokes along with their hub and they fit the Jerih rim fine. Just want to be sure before I start ordering stuff. Thanks again.
