I have a 2012 FXDC with the stock seat. I'm looking for a nice, comfortable solo seat. I'm 5'10" with a 31" inseam and 210 lbs. Based on how the stock seat feels, I know I'd like to move back a little and I think a little down. Any ideas and or pictures I can show Ms. Claus to help make the right selection? Thanks guys!

 

i run a lapera bare bones on my str bob. it looks cool and moves me way back but is a low padding type seat. i hear C&C make good stuff.

If you like "soft" as comfortable, consider the Mustang Vintage.

If you like "firm" as comfortable, have more to spend, and want a better looking, higher quality seat, order a Corbin Classic Solo. It will pretty much put you where you want to be, look killer and last a long time. I have one and love it. Not a fan of Mustang myself.

 

Another vote for Sicksaddles. But you're not going to get it before Christmas.

I tried just about all of and the Danny Gray Buttcrack Solo is the best I've ever sat on.

Might be a little pricey, but oh well.

 

Thanks for the ideas guys, I've looked at all of them so far. I didn't see the Danny Gray available for dynas, maybe I missed something. If you have the experience of any of the seats, I really want one that lets me sit back from the stock seat, sitting lower isn't as important but I would prefer that option.

 

mustang vintage is great
