Hi guys, looking for a lil help... as the title indicates, ive got a 99 fxdx with the stock carb... thought i knew more than i did and bought a used S&S air intake...

and... it doesnt fit...

yep just leave it off or put it on but it will not work your choke

your kit comes with new head breather bolts , you can just vent back to carb . remember to rejet carb while you are there

Will i benefit from using a K&N filter with the SE setup? Also, the person the owned the bike before me left the football cover on... where is a good place to look for the small round covers that show the filter? speaking of which, if i was to get the plate, would i have to worry about rain/moisture entering?
