Just have to rub it in
Perfect day for a ride...3 dyna's and a springer. Hit some popular spots here like devil's backbone, purgatory rd. went around canyon lake, and ended up at the shade tree saloon for lunch. Temperatures were 65-75 and only had a few drops on us.
I'm glad I live in Texas where we ride all year around.
It was our first ride with Chris who I met on the forum. (txaussie) He was the one that got blown up in Afganistan and only got to stare at his new dyna when he got back home. Had to wait months to get clear to drive and then longer to ride. He had his bike dynotuned yesterday and was out riding the hell out of it today.
Welcome home and glad we all finally went on the long awaited first ride. Hopefully it will be the first of many.

was in your neck of the woods a couple weeks ago on a camping trip with my family, we stayed at cranes mill park and road the same roads you took. we also had perfect weather and a great camping trip. this camping trip was initated by an 8 year old grand daughter who ask for a camping trip for her birthday present. we wound up taking 5 camp spots.
its good to hear of Chris, and wish him well

smart grandaughter you got.
Next time try potters creek down the street. It has huge campsites. We fit a chevy dually, chevy extended cab, a 18' ski boat, and a 28' travel trailer in one site...and still room for tents. They allow 10 people per campsite. 24 per night, electricity and water.
