I heard things changed in 96, I called the HD dealership and they said the part numbers are different, The tank gas and speedo is electric and not cable. i really don't want to buy these if don't fit. I ask please folks I need to know 100% if they will fit, PLEASE let me know.. Thank you for all your help

Hello there, I have a 1995 DWG and need new tins, My friend said he could get a set of tins from a 1999 DWG. will everything match up? please help, I need too be 100% before I buy them. Thank you for all your help..

Correct me if I'm wrong,but when I was looking for a tank and rear fender for my 2000 fxdwg I remember the spread being 96-03. Therefore 95 would be different...

The tins will bolt up, yes the speedo is electronic, therefore reuse your speedo and dash, i have a 94 tank on my 2002 and it bolted up no problem.

Can't help you man, but the correct years on a standard FXD/FXDL are 96-03 and I don't know if that is the same with the FXDWG

It looks like the front fenders have the same parts numbers but the '99 Wide Glide uses a newer tank and rear fender than your bike. Might work, might not? I wouldn't buy without more research.
