I run them , and like said above , they r cold in the cold ( but heat is not a problem in summer , never have figured that out) and in the rain you will find out quickly y people that run them wear gloves , cause they do get slippery. no vibe issues. I love the feel and the look though , rode em for years and have no desire to switch

I really loved the 2007 CVO FXDSE grips.. they had nice raised texture "bumps" on their surface.. (I also liked the foot pegs that went with it) IMO it also gave the bike a really nice "finished" look being "pegged out" and being same/ same.. (I am a slave to symmetry)

I even test road (07 FXDSE CVO) and didnt notice any issues with it being slippery ( I always wear gloves no matter the time of year) or the foot pegs being slippery.. (maybe because my posterior-exterior was enjoying the sweet ride that the seat was giving me.. and reminding me about the painful trip I was going to have going home on the stock lowrider seat)

the weather was nice so cold wasnt a factor that day.. but I can imagine that during colder conditions and or rain/mist conditions... I might have had a different opinion..

I rode with a pair for years and rode in warm weather, cold weather, rainy, hail, and a couple of times snow. I have to agree with the above, they are colder when it's cold. Never an issue for me because if it was that cold I had gloves on anyways. They are slippery when wet but never enough to bother me. Vibration was never really an issue for me either and this was on an old, stroked out shovel head!!
