I used to get massive amounts of buffeting with the windshield. Haven't tested out my Rifle yet cause I'm still messing with the mounts. The quick release mounts aren't going to work out. Hey Sling where did you pick up those fork clamps? They look like a pair ive seen in a turn signal relocate thread.

those do look like turn sig relo brackets. i have a set on my bike. you can get them from j&p and other places for around $40.
i might have to pick up another set for my fairing when it comes in.

Got these yesterday. Probably going to have them PC'd when I get the trees done.

I was attempting to use my HD quick release clamps by extending the adjustable brackets with some black tabs that came with the fairing. I couldn't achieve the right bolt mounting angle with the HD clamps. Here's a pic of the two different clamps. You might have better luck than I did.

I tried to use gorilla glue to adhere this bolt to the bottom of the fairing so I won't have to drill a hole to attach it to the mount. Any one have an idea of an adhesive that would work? I'm thinking I might try a construction adhesive like liquid nails. I'm concerned the solvents in the adhesive could hurt the fairing.

PM 07bobber ask him how he ending up mounting the bottom of his rifle. I remember he was working on a different way as well. He has had It on for awhile now maybe he can shoot some guidance
