Default Brighter Headlight?

I ran a search and came up empty - so I'll go ahead and ask it: On a 97 Dyna WIde Glide with a stock electrical system, is there a headlight I canbuy and just plug-in that is brighter than the old stock one?
Thanks.[sm=biker2.gif]

I bought the KuryakynPt No. 2350 ice-smooth clear lens.
This item fits straight into the standard assembly and everyone has commented on the bright transformation.

Seen this in the latest Easyriders rag, looks like what I am gonna go with.

http://harleyzone.tenmagazines.com/t...124&sid=20

from the webpage:

One of the newest products Delta Tech Ind. offers is the new low-amp draw motorcycle H.I.D. headlight series. They offer a range of different sizes and configurations for different motorcycle headlight styles including Harley-Davidson and custom choppers using standard 7-inch or 5-3/4-inch round headlamps. Both the FATTY 700 7' Low-amp Draw Motorcycle H.I.D. Headlight and the SLIM 500 5 3/4' Low-Amp Draw Motorcycle H.I.D. Headlight come with a 21 watt compact ballast/igniter which draws only 1.75 amps per light and will not drain your battery. They are a direct replacement for your stock headlights. At 6,000K rating, these systems will exceed daylight brightness by 10 percent!

IF you are looking for a bright light at a low cost then the silverstars might be your best bet. They come as clos to hids as you can get. Now if you want to spend the money then a hid system is where you want to be.

I agree. The Silverstars offer a low cost immediate improvement over stock.
