Default rear brake light switch connectors

Well hi my dyna buddies!
Ok for some reason my rear brake switch no longer activates my brake light, so I need to test the switch to make sure that is the problem. I don't want to pull hard on the 2 connectors and somehow damage them, but it would seam that is how they come off. Can anyone tell me how to release the 2 wires that connect to the rear brake light switch on a '08 fatbob please? The brake works fine, and the front brake switch still turns the brake light on, but i think the rear switch should also work,,, that might be ,,, kinda iomportant right? lol

I had to pry mine off to check it. It's not a boot covered plug as shown in my '07 service manual.
I recently bought a new rear stoplight pressure switch for my '07
part #72023-51E about $20 it came with new crimp-on conectors

Lots of info in there but i wasn't looking to release the wire from the connector ,as it turns out i just pulled a little harder and wiggled the connectors off of the terminals, no special majic there. stuck a pair of long nose into the leads and the light goes on, so it is the pressure switch I need to change.

Mine are boot covered and they just pull out, so i hope my new switch will have the same terminals, save me that much effort anyway.

Thanks for the helping hands guys!

Sorry for the type-O in the heading lolz!
