Default Timetable for teardown has moved up!

we got dumped on with a snowy mess tonight, trucks are already out salting and sanding the roads.

Ive been known to ride in the winter, but I'm gonna take this as a sign to get the bike up on the lift and start with my winter mods.

Going to Cali this weekend, but when I get back I'm gonna get her up on my new lift/garage workshop and get to work.

Pics of the new workspace and the teardown to follow.

Powder coat all engine cases black, rebuild front end with fat bob trees and ricor intiminators in forks, internal throttle, internal brake line, maybe custom switches, 30t front pulley, cut down bagger air shocks.

looking forward to this!! cut down bagger shocks? you may want to do like I am and build an air ride instead... we offer a $100 package to HD forum members to do the cases (primary, cam cover, trans cover, top trans cover) if you would like to add the inner primary i am sure we can work with you!

Was away for a few days...

I don't know the brand of table, but we picked it up from a power sports shop that was going out of business. Paid 500 for it and it's a sturdy MFer.

Cut a hole in the garage floor and framed it out wit concrete so the table sits flush when it's down. Ride right on and never worry about not having your feet planted when securing the bike in the chock.

As for the shocks, I've had my old man's street glide takeoffs sitting here forever so I'm gonna put them to use. Like you, though, my sights are set on the arnott aldan air system, I just don't have the scratch for it right now.

That's a great idea about mounting the table flush with the floor. Haven't thought about doing that.
