Yea Buddy........OK tell the truth now, how did you like the gearing change...

It still freaks people out when they pull up next to me and I am gone like I was launched from a sling shot....

Only took a 5 or so mile shakedown run while adjusting my clutch, but damn, you weren't kidding!

She pulls in every gear!

and how is the top end? did you get a chance to get a long run at high speeds to compair old set up to new?

unfortunately not.

i only took it around town to get the clutch adjusted and make sure nothing was leaking.

too damn cold for me to hop on the highway.

Ooh man.. I just saw the pics and looks like I'm going in a very similar direction on my build. Going to keep everything under the hood wrinkle black though.

Top end....Who knows when you max out the speedo just shifting into 5th gear, let alone 6th gear....

When cruising in 6th gear at about 55-60 mph all you have to do is roll on the throttle and you lurch forward fast enough. If you down shift, you end up like a rock out of a sling shot.... Gone it the blink of an eye, and you better be hanging on good.

looks awesome so far toastman, im JUST starting into mine so far havign a hard time finding soem parts i need in the price ranges i would prefer. but i got her up on the lift right now and a bunch of parts on order
