i think it will.

only thing that has me nervous is i won't know if it all works until i get the bike all buttoned up and go to start it hahaha.

should work fine, i followed the schematic pretty much to the T.

there's one wire giving me pause though and i might just tear into it and relocate it just because.

the red power wire from the grip ace has to be soldered into the hot accessories wire for the bike. it's an orange and white wire that runs throughout the whole wiring harness and can be accessed pretty much anywhere (wires from the controls, under the seat, under the tank, etc...)

the schematic called for two wires for the turn signals to be spliced with the O/W wire coming from the controls. i forgot to leave the red wire out to splice it in under the seat and just spliced it in with the other two that were going to the wire from the controls. don't know if splicing all those wires together will give me a problem.

I think you will be fine. I usually try out all my connections (like you said you did) too. I looked at the grip ace site. Cool stuff and cleans everything up well.

I am watching this one. Your bike is gonna look great when its all done! You've got me thinking about that 30T pulley now too. I never use 6th gear anyway, so I'm not worried about losing top end.

teaser pics of my bars.

i bolted them back on to move the bike out of the garage. the SL55 AMG takes precedence over my poor little bike project lol.

here they are, minus a mirror mount and mirror on the clutch side.
