some people also just find the look of wrapped more hot rod than powder coated. I like the look of both, but my history with wraps has not been all good. Used to run them on some hot rods. The wrap liked to hold moisture and caused headers to rust fairly quick. /shrug

 

yes wraps are hard on pipes but look cool. they are hotter on your leg than heat shields. they do hold moisture. i still like it. my past and present pipes...
