I absolutely love the nightster, its priced perfectly. I originally went into Harley with the intention of getting a nightster or 48. But then i saw the Wide Glide with the 103, forwards and black paint, oooooh weee! I looked at it, sat on it, kissed it a little when no one was looking. Game over. However, I still would like to pick up a nighty at some point or another.

owned both over the last 3 years and would choose the wide glide between the 2
wide glide is bad *** looking, way more comfortable and can go 200+ miles on a full tank..
the nightster was comfortable only AFTER i installed the 12" air shock and would **** and git from a dead stop but at around 100 miles between fill ups made for a pain in the *** and is best only for bar hopping, boulevard cruising..
YMMV

Cruising at 70 I think the most I got out of my WG was 215 miles on 4.6 gal. Same commute on the Sportster (though granted carbed) after the 1200 conversion was 186 miles on 3.3 gal. So about 30 miles more out of the 1.3 gallons on the Dyna.
Worst I've got on the Sportster is 150 miles to 3.3 gal ("cruising" at 90 on my way back from Vegas) and worst on the Dyna is about 186 miles ("cruising" at 90 coming back from Phoenix). Again, about 36 miles more out of the Dyna.
