Default Awesome ride yesterday to the Earthquake capital

Glad we can still ride in November here. Buddy found this place on yahoo of all places, called Parkfield, Ca not far from us but tucked away in an out of the way spot. As you can see we had quite a variety of bikes, but all great people to ride with. It was an awesome day to ride, hi 70s to low 80s, bout 150 miles round trip. We had one real interesting section, about 4 miles of dirt road heading out going north, it was uphill and graded but was still a rough ride.

Personally I prefer to ride with groups that include all types of bikes. That way you know everyone is there because they enjoy riding. Too many times the brand specific rides are more about the show than they are about the ride.

Sorry I didn't get any more photos. And yea it was a nice group, couple guys I work with and some from another squadron. We came from here in the valley and headed out late so we didn't go by San Miguel, and yea the food is awesome there, just don't take the road north of there.

Amen to that bro, I used to ride a rocket then made the switch. My best friend still rides his 929RR and we always go try to make a ride at least once a month together. Went to Lynchburg this last may which was epic.(he has a one year old and is overly protective so it's tricky to find a babysitter for him)

Sounds like it was Good time! Weather is unseasonably warm here in Norcal. Gotta take advantage of it.
