I found a black 2012 street bob for $11700 or a red 2012 street bob for $12045..otd...at least that's what the dealer has offered so far...I haven't tried to negotiate a lower price yet. Do you think that is a good deal?

 

We're going to need a few more details to gauge a fair price. Miles? Overall condition?

 

New. The black has 8 miles and the red has 12.

 

Well they retail at $12,999 so I'd say that's a good deal as long as you don't pay doc, prep and freight.

at that price for the red 2012, they should give you a riders package. Not sure where your at but around here around this time of year the dealers tie on a riders package to 2012's still in stock. A riders package is usually around 500.0 value (helmet/jacket/boots) They dealer around here just had a run to sell off the "blacked out" bikes they had on hand still. Guess they had ordered a bunch to accommodate the trend.

Its not a deal breaker but its just another incentive to get ppl to take the end of yr models off the floor. The more out the door that model yr the more they have a chance to get the next yr. # of sales and Customer Satisfaction surveys are part of the equation HD uses to determine who gets what bike wise.

Gotta remember that price tag is going to get another 2k tagged on for all that crap like RFC mentioned.

 

Also found a 2012 denim black sb for $11650 with a helmet thrown in.....negotiating with two different dealers.....all the offers are otd.

 

yeah there are deals out there right now, its a good time to buy. Check those dealers event calendar... then hit them back up on the day they have an event. They usually have a sale quota to hit on those days, would be surprised how generous they get. My brother went with me when I got mine which was on an event day. They were dealing so nicely because they needed to move 12 bikes that day, that my bro. had to get in on the action and bought his 1st bike a iron 883. We both left on 2013 bikes under msrp with preventive maint contracts & extended (4yr) warranty out the door.

 

Bet they still add tax, title and tags.
