The bike is a little heavy for me, Locks up the brakes, but for cursing down the highway I love it. Just my two cent.
Air ride or progressives solve the clearance issues (remember the bike is built to drag race).

Are you saying the V-Rod was heavy for you or the Dyna?

I have previously had a VROD, a Night Train, and a Street Bob. I just bought a 2013 HD two weeks ago...another Dyna (Fat Bob). The VROD was fun but I don't care for the 240 back tire on the new ones and I like the twisties more than straight aways (where the Dyna excels).

The V-Rod wasn't design for the racetrack, it was design to get the last buck from young men who can't identify with Harley Davidson old school bikes.
V-Rods sucks on the racetrack because their is not enough low torque for starting...that's also the reason why they don't flip up at the front.
The Destroyer was a big laughing number here at Europe.

But, if the needed RPM is reached the V-Rod goes like Hell, that's for sure!

You're kidding, right?

The V is a joke compared to Jap and Euro sport bikes (power to weight ratio obviously), but compare it to any "torque monster" H-D and it's still got the fastest 60', 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, mile... You get the point. Its the fastest Harley regardless of TQ, so I don't see you're point other than maybe you just fear what you don't understand...

Sorry, I want not to make anybody angry! In fact here in Euope there is only one Team from France who started with this bike very well (second place in French championship).
In my class, streetoutlaws ET braket, their is no destroyer and only some Harleys. The fastest one is a stroked and bored Evo ExSoftail and a Sporster with 120cui.
In the AHD (All Harley Drags) their is also no Destroyer.
Their is a bad joke about this bike on the tracks here, that it only need the rollbars for drying clothes (sorry for my poor english). They are to slow.
The most time we have to start against Blackbirds, Hayabusas and B-Kings.

Don't misunderstood, I like this bike very much, the brakes are sweet (I have them) and the sound is awfull good.

I was asking which bike you were referring to when you said, "The bike is a little heavy for me, Locks up the brakes, but for cursing down the highway I love it."

The Dyna is a little heavy to me, The V-rod handle easier because of the lower center of gravity
