Thanks bro. I'm tellin ya the thug style spin on it gets respect. I think it's because not many (if any) have taken a V there before.

Again, I had the same issue with the stock bars. You'd be surprised the wonders in comfort from just playing around with the ton of aftermarket handlebar options...

My buddy with the FXDB took mine for a ride and said he thought it handled better than his bike. On paper, I'm not sure...

Yeah, I get that a lot. People either don't even know WTF it is, or tell me it's the only V-Rod they've ever liked.

Another thing to consider in the modded Dyna vs V-Rod comparo:

When Porsche designed the V, they purposely spec'd it to be almost impossible to wheelie... A big plus for getting out of the hole first. A big power Dyna will almost surely pop up the front if you dump the clutch.

I wanted to buy a V-Rod, I rode one on vacation. The bike is very fast off the line compare to my Dyna. The V-rod was too low to the ground for my taste. Kept hitting the ground around corners. Kept banging my legs on the frame when trying to corner the bike hard. I finally found my 2005 FXDX Dyna. The bike is a little heavy for me, Locks up the brakes, but for cursing down the highway I love it. Just my two cent.
