Default winter gloves

What are the best pair of winter/cold weather gloves that you've used? Prices range from $29.99-299.99 so it's a little hard to pick without actually using them.

Try a pair of mittens. Only things that will keep my hands warm as toast in 50 degree temps. "Warm gloves" is an oxymoron.

If you are doing anything below 50 degrees, on the highway for long periods skip all the thick gloves and go heated gloves. I have several pairs of gloves, grip warmers and i had to end up with heated gloves. My hands cant stand the cold anymore

I use just a cheep set of leather gloves that come up over my jacket sleeves. 50 is warm weather. Rode to work yesterday and it was 27 degrees. I ride at highway speed for 10 miles. Any more then that you should use the heated gloves.

Mr Pappa you are tougher than I. I have been trying to decide on better gloves myself.

I bought a pair of dis-continued electric gloves from the HD. The gloves were $125. They didn't have the battries so had to get them online for $75. I have ridden on days of 30 degrees or slightly less and they keep my hands and fingers warm.

I have been using the G3 heated gloves from Gerbing for 3+ yrs, and have been happy with them. I have minor arthritis in my hands and they make night and day difference between sore hands after a long ride, and normal hands.

I agree 100%.

I have several different sets of gloves for all temperature ranges. Once it starts to get really cold I go with my Gerbings. I have the battery operated set so I don't have to be tied into the bike. They last anywhere for 2 to 6 hours per charge, depending on the temperature setting you use. They are a little over $200.00, but well worth it if you do a substantial amount of cold weather riding.
