Ill ask chris to get on here and give some feedback on his work... i have done coating work for Story808 derby covers in the past, he does some flawless work as well...

Little curious..on the HD Custom Fabrication covers, is the lexan recessed into the rear of the derby cover? Can you see the edges of the lexan when the cover is mounted?

Thanks for the question.
No, on these covers the clear lexan is not recessed, it can be done but not on a waterjet that we are cutting these on. So you would see the 1/8" lexan just like you see the paper gasket on any Harley Derby cover.
