Fat Bob 1/4 fairing prototype
#22
Great news! I would love to have one on my bike in time for Christmas!
After reviewing them again I am torn, they both look great. Quick Detach would be sweet if it didnt jack up the price.
The FatBob is such a mean bike that is big on function, its perfect for the outlaw style look. Cant believe nobody has released a solid fairing option yet. First guy that makes a solid 1/4 fairing for the FXDF is going to be a wealthy man, I know a lot are interested.

Here's an update from DougZ... (Just passing on the info that he distributed to his email list). I think it's going to look slick once its painted. He did a great job translating everyone's vision into a product.
from Doug:
"This should give you all a good feel for what it looks like installed. The fairing is just sitting there not fastened to anything in these images. I think it is proportioned correctly being about 1/2 inch narrower than the gas tank on each side and the top of the fairing is about 1.5 inches higher than the mirror heads leaving a nice 'line' for the eye to follow. I've included an image of my drop-dead gorgeous carcass sitting on the bike so you can see how the lines of the fairing look with a rider on board. I'm 6 feet nuthin' so you can estimate how things will lay out with your body structure. Now on to creating the mounts..."
