This may be a dumb question, but I've recently fixed up my tank and am needing to order a better/longer fuel crossover line for my 2007 Street Bob and I was wondering if since I have a two inch lift on the front of my tank is the crossover line that important or could I possibly just close up the tips on each side? Thanks for any suggestions

 

You need that crossover unless you only want a 2 gallon gas tank.

 

just get a slightly longer fuel line, use some clamps and pop it on there bud

 

K, sweet. Thanks guys. I am looking to order some new black braided cables from Magnum so I'll just order one along with them that matches.

 

I just got quarter inch fuel hose from AutoZone. Free since they had less than a foot left but it was long enough for me.

 

You might install one of these at the same time, very handy. The last time I pulled my tank out, a few drops of gas, no spill.
