Sorry for hijacking, what's the advantage of a Brembo brake caliper? Does it stop better?

from the research I have done (looking at aftermarket ones on my WG), even the harley brembo ones are crap, the concensus I believe is get some "real Brembo brakes" or something like Nissin brakes etc off ebay and go from there.

I believe the harley brembo ones are just a contract order to brembo and are no where the quility of the "real" ones Brembo will not even put their name on them.

Thats if I read your post correctly as in take touring brakes off a harley and put them on your ride.

Does it stop better? Yes, much. Is is the very best brake available on the market? No. There is always something better if you are willing to pay for it. Is it worth a few hundred dollars and the opportunity to be able stop quicker in a panic situation? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes. Do they stop better than my PM 6 piston caliper? I dunno as that bike only has a single disc and is much heavier than the Dyna.

Put that set you avhe on, don't sell it. You will also benefit greatly from steel braided lines.

Are adapters necessary for this upgrade, or do they just bolt on?
Thanks.

AFAIK, bolts up but you need 11.8" rotors.

Hogpro has done this along with Howard as well.
