Default Just picked up a Wide Glide

Just bought a Dyna Wide Glide and I feel like the seat is to high - anyone have any suggestions on a kit or a way to shave an inch or two from the seat height?

You could just replace the seat with a lower one.
Maybe lower the whole bike.

I can't believe he's complaining about the seat height. And didn't say anything about the reach to the forwards. I, on the other hand, feal comfortable with the saddle. But had to buy the forward reduced reach set.

I agree lower the bike. Will probably cost the same as a new seat would

C&C seat will lower you about an inch, otherwise you will have to lower the bike.

BadX has a thread on here, he customizes seats and it looks like a lot of guys have had him hook them up on here. I'm in the process of getting him to mod my stock seat. Way, way cheaper than a new seat or lowering the bike.

Lowered mine 1" in the rear more for looks but I also am short and it did help a lot with feeling more comfortable with feet fully flat on the ground now. I went with 11" progressives and I think they were about 200 for the set ride better the the stock ones.
