RE: Try this in the Dyna forum...
I think I would go way up north around Shreveport. I almost went to Alec one time but I got just south of Lafayette and got scared that I wouldn't be able to find my way back to New Iberia so I turned around and came home.I heard from a friend that one guy made it through Lafayette one time with out getting run over by going real early in the morning. I don't know if that's true or not. It might be one of them tales that people tell like the one about the guy that bought the motorcycle real cheap because it wouldn't start and he turned the kill switch off when he got it back home and it started right up.
Seriously, though, I would like to ride west and see the redwood forest and the sequoias. Then I would come back through the northern extreme of the U.S. close to Canada turning south before I got to the great lakes and coming back through Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Merryville.
That would be great.

Hi boe, I live in Autralia and just arrived home 2 days ago from a 16000klm 5week trip across Australia on my Fatboy. If you ever get the chance get over here and do it, the trip was outstanding, Australia is a bike riders dream.
